Furnaces & Air Handlers

We offer 3 brands that can meet any budget or need. As an approved dealer of American Standard, Bryant, and Goodman products, we offer a range of furnaces and air handlers from the highest end to the budget-friendliest installed by qualified Kansas City HVAC Technicians.

How we determine what system is right for you

Selecting the right furnace or air handlers is based on several factors including budget, desired efficiency, size of the home and layout, how well insulated the home is and how well your ducts are sealed. We offer free estimates and will discuss with you the best options for your needs. We do not believe in over-selling in any circumstance.

Signs your heating unit might need replaced

Age

The average age for a furnace today is 15 to 20 years. If yours falls in this range, it might be time to consider a new one. Most of us would prefer to do the research and make this decision on our own time, not when the furnace stops working and we are in an emergency situation for heat. If your furnace is old, consider looking into replacement options.

Strange noises

Banging, rattling, and popping might be noises you’d expect to hear at a haunted house, but you don’t want to hear them coming from your furnace. Unusual noises coming from your unit most commonly indicate a delayed ignition, electrical issues, or a cracked belt. These could be signs that the furnace is wearing down and ready to be retired.

Multiple repairs in last 2 years

As furnaces age, they require more and more repair. If you’ve had multiple, varying repairs in the last 2 years, it’s probably time to start checking your options. Also, parts for older furnaces become more difficult to find and could cause you to “get left in the cold” while your HVAC professional tries to locate the part.

How do you feel?

Are some rooms very hot while others are very cold? This could be an indication that your unit is not working properly. Also, as furnaces get older, they run the risk of developing a crack in the heat exchanger. This could allow carbon monoxide to leak into your home and cause illness.

Testimonials

Blue Heating and Cooling went above and beyond to make us cool and happy customers, battling temperatures over 100 and a swarm of angry hornets underneath our old outside unit! Dustin, you are awesome. Now when people ask me what I'm doing today I can honestly tell them "I'm just chillin' out around the house". Our house went from 87 degrees to a fantastic 75 by bedtime. Thanks for your fantastic work, my family appreciates it!
